1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and the operator of VoteGauge.com regarding your access to and use of the website.

Your continued access to VoteGauge after changes to these terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

2. Eligibility and general-audience use

VoteGauge is intended for a general audience. You must be legally capable of agreeing to these terms or use the website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts them on your behalf.

VoteGauge is not intended to create a contractual relationship between visitors and any AI company listed on the website.

3. The VoteGauge service

VoteGauge provides an online directory and community popularity ranking for selected artificial-intelligence companies, platforms, and products.

Website features may include:

• AI company profiles and category pages.
• Community upvotes and downvotes.
• All-time and recent ranking information.
• Search and category filters.
• Editorial descriptions and informational content.
• Links to official company websites and other resources.
• Advertising, affiliate links, or sponsored placements.
• Contact, correction, or company-submission forms.

VoteGauge may add, remove, reorganize, suspend, or modify any feature or company listing at its discretion.

4. Community voting

Visitors may cast an upvote or downvote for listed companies, subject to the voting limits and technical controls active at the time of submission.

Voting window

The current system generally permits one accepted vote per company during each 12-hour voting window. The limit applies separately to each listed company.

Accepted and rejected votes

A voting attempt affects the public result only after it is accepted by the website. Rejected, blocked, incomplete, automated, duplicate, or otherwise invalid attempts do not have to be included.

Technical safeguards

VoteGauge may use cookies, browser identifiers, timestamps, network information, security services, logs, and other technical methods to enforce voting limits and reduce abuse.

5. Rankings, scores, and recent activity

VoteGauge rankings are based on the scoring and ordering methods used by the website at the relevant time. Accepted upvotes raise a company’s score, while accepted downvotes lower it.

A company’s position may change when its score moves above or below the score of another listed company.

Popularity rather than certification

VoteGauge results reflect recorded community preference among the companies included on the website. They do not constitute:

• An objective measurement of overall product quality.
• A laboratory test or professional product certification.
• A guarantee of accuracy, safety, reliability, or suitability.
• A recommendation that every visitor use the highest-ranked company.
• An official ranking issued or approved by the listed companies.

Rankings can be affected by differences in brand recognition, community size, visitor interest, recent announcements, website traffic, and voter participation.

6. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to misuse VoteGauge or interfere with its rankings, voting system, infrastructure, or visitors.

Prohibited conduct includes:

• Submitting automated votes through bots, scripts, macros, browser automation, or similar tools.
• Attempting to bypass the 12-hour voting window or other voting controls.
• Coordinating fraudulent, paid, deceptive, or artificial voting activity.
• Using rotating addresses, device farms, emulators, proxies, or similar methods to evade restrictions.
• Submitting votes on behalf of others without authorization.
• Attempting to access nonpublic areas, databases, source code, accounts, or server systems without permission.
• Testing or exploiting security weaknesses without prior written authorization.
• Introducing malware, destructive code, excessive requests, or denial-of-service activity.
• Scraping or harvesting data in a manner that disrupts the site or ignores technical restrictions.
• Impersonating VoteGauge, a listed company, another visitor, or another organization.
• Submitting false legal notices, ownership claims, corrections, or business representations.
• Using the website in violation of applicable law or another person’s rights.

VoteGauge may reject votes, adjust displayed results, remove activity reasonably believed to be invalid, restrict access, or take other protective measures when misuse is suspected.

7. Information and content you submit

You may voluntarily send messages, corrections, company information, listing requests, partnership inquiries, or other material through VoteGauge.

You represent that information you submit:

• Is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• Does not violate another person’s rights.
• Does not contain unlawful, defamatory, threatening, deceptive, or malicious material.
• Does not disclose confidential information without authorization.
• Does not contain malware, tracking code, or destructive content.

You retain any ownership rights you have in submitted material. By submitting content for publication, correction, review, or use on VoteGauge, you grant VoteGauge a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to review, reproduce, edit, format, display, and use that material for operating and improving the website.

VoteGauge is not required to publish, retain, respond to, or act upon every submission.

8. VoteGauge intellectual property

The VoteGauge name, site design, original graphics, page layouts, written content, ranking presentation, source code, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except where expressly permitted, you may not:

• Copy or republish substantial portions of the website.
• Reproduce the VoteGauge design or branding in a misleading manner.
• Sell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute VoteGauge content.
• Create a competing database by systematically extracting VoteGauge content.
• Remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or ownership notices.
• Claim sponsorship, approval, or affiliation without written authorization.

You may link to publicly available VoteGauge pages and share brief excerpts for commentary, news reporting, or discussion, provided the use is lawful, accurately attributed, and does not imply endorsement.

9. AI company names, logos, and trademarks

Product names, company names, logos, icons, and trademarks displayed on VoteGauge generally belong to their respective owners.

Their appearance is intended to identify and describe the relevant companies or products. It does not imply that a listed company sponsors, controls, approves, or endorses VoteGauge.

VoteGauge is an independent website unless a specific relationship is clearly disclosed.

A rights holder who believes a name, logo, image, or other material is used incorrectly may submit a detailed notice through the Contact page.

10. External websites and services

VoteGauge may link to AI companies, official product pages, advertisers, affiliate merchants, news sources, social platforms, and other external websites.

External services are operated independently. VoteGauge does not control and is not responsible for their:

• Availability or security.
• Products, services, or pricing.
• Accuracy or completeness.
• Privacy or cookie practices.
• Terms, policies, or business conduct.

Accessing an external website is at your own discretion and subject to that provider’s terms and policies.

11. Advertising, sponsorships, and affiliate links

VoteGauge may display advertisements, sponsored placements, referral links, or affiliate links. VoteGauge may receive compensation when a visitor views, clicks, signs up, or completes a purchase through certain links.

Compensation does not convert a community popularity score into an independent product certification. Sponsored content or material commercial relationships will be identified where disclosure is required.

Advertisers and merchants are responsible for their own products, claims, fulfillment, billing, customer service, and policies.

12. Availability, maintenance, and changes

VoteGauge may experience interruptions, technical errors, delayed updates, incorrect displays, lost connections, maintenance periods, or unavailable features.

VoteGauge may:

• Add or remove listed companies.
• Change categories, descriptions, links, or profile details.
• Modify voting limits or abuse-prevention measures.
• Correct technical errors or inaccurate information.
• Recalculate or restore scores following a confirmed technical issue.
• Remove voting activity reasonably believed to be invalid.
• Suspend or discontinue any part of the website.

VoteGauge does not guarantee that every score, position, trend, or recent-activity figure will update instantly or remain available permanently.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VoteGauge and all website content and features are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

VoteGauge does not warrant that:

• The website will always be available, secure, or error-free.
• Rankings or scores will be free from manipulation or technical errors.
• Company information will always be complete, current, or accurate.
• External products or services will meet your expectations.
• Using an AI product will produce any particular result.
• Defects or errors will be corrected immediately.

Nothing on VoteGauge constitutes legal, financial, medical, investment, cybersecurity, employment, or other professional advice.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VoteGauge and its operator, owners, contributors, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to the website.

This limitation includes damages associated with:

• Use of or inability to use the website.
• Reliance on rankings, scores, profiles, or company information.
• Purchases or decisions involving third-party products.
• Loss of data, revenue, business, opportunity, or reputation.
• Unauthorized access, malicious activity, or security incidents.
• Incorrect, delayed, lost, or removed voting activity.
• Website errors, outages, or interruptions.

To the extent liability cannot legally be excluded, VoteGauge’s total aggregate liability arising from your use of the website will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid directly to VoteGauge during the preceding twelve months or one hundred U.S. dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not permit particular liability limitations, so those limitations may apply only to the extent permitted by law.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VoteGauge and its operator, owners, contributors, contractors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, expenses, and reasonable legal fees arising from:

• Your submitted content or representations.
• Your infringement of another person’s rights.
• Your unlawful or abusive voting activity.

VoteGauge is not required to provide advance notice before blocking malicious, automated, excessive, or unauthorized activity.

Provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, governing law, and other provisions that should reasonably survive will remain effective after access ends.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms and disputes arising from VoteGauge will be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be waived, disputes must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in New Jersey.

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to make a reasonable effort to contact VoteGauge and allow an opportunity to address the concern informally.

18. Changes to these Terms of Use

VoteGauge may update these terms when website features, voting rules, business practices, legal requirements, or service providers change.

The revised version will be published on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes may also be communicated through an additional website notice when appropriate.
